What is Effective Communication?
Effective communication when someone is able to communicate with another person effectively with out any problems the person would have to be able to communicate by talking and maybe using their body language at the same time.
The tone of someone’s voice is also a form of effective communication the reason for this is because you can tell people’s mood by their voice a lot of the time, for example if they are shouting quite loudly they may be angry or if there are talking at their normal tone it could mean they are relaxed. There are also many other different forms of communication such as Email, Texting, Sign Language and Phone Calls.
Emails and texting are a great way of getting in touch with someone and our used quite frequently in out community but they do have their downsides, the downside to the both of them is that you can’t see a persons body language or hear the tone of their voice you can only look at the message and guess what mood their in its nearly the same with phone calls except when you phone someone you can get a good idea of how their feeling by the way they are talking.
Having effective communication would be very valuable to most employers, for example if you were working as an IT support person you would need to be able to talk to someone who has possibly never used a computer and talk them through setting it up without using such a technical language. You would also be talking to people all day and would be faced with possible language barriers so you would have to try your best to understand what they are saying.
